Community Mixer to be held Monday, December 4, 2017, 5-7 p.m.
Worthington Area Foundation invites area residents to a Community Mixer on December 4, 5-7 p.m. at Memorial Auditorium. Appetizers will be served and a cash bar will be available. A short program to present the 2017 WAF grants will begin at 6 p.m. Thank you to all of the wonderful organizations that applied for funding. Thank you to the area residents who made donations to our family of funds this year! We hope to see you at the mixer on December 4, 2017.

$20,000 Challenge Matching Grant a Success!
Highlights from 2014: The Worthington Area Foundation was presented with a unique opportunity to grow the general endowment fund. Long-time community members, Dr. Wayne and Karen Freese, issued a dollar-for-dollar challenge grant. Gifts given to the Worthington Area Foundation Endowment Fund were matched up to $20,000! This was an incredible opportunity for the Worthington Area Foundation and our community. Thank you to all those who donated!
Roy and Dorothy Nasers Family Endowment Fund
Highlight from 2013: Dorothy Nasers along with Jim and Ruth Putnam, established three permanently endowed funds in the WAF family of funds: Roy & Dorothy Nasers Endowment Fund for Worthington YMCA, Roy & Dorothy Nasers Endowment Fund for Manna Food Pantry, Inc., and Roy and Dorothy Nasers Endowment Fund.
